Ibrahim BanguraMr. Bangura is a consultant with wide ranging experience in the fields of DDR, Child Protection-Monitoring and Rehabilitation and research. He has also worked extensively on gender issues in every district of Sierra Leone, forming networks and organizing sensitization programmes for the eradication of harmful, traditional practices such as Female Genital Mutilation. He has worked with female victims of war and those marginalised by the DDR process for reasons of gender, and has organised seminars on gender discrimination and differentiation. Mr. Bangura also has thorough knowledge in project evaluation and management. He has taken part in many training programmes organized by the United Nations and the European Union, holds a B.A in Political Science and History and a Masters in Gender Studies (Conflict and Human Rights bias), University of Sierra Leone.
